DTN COMMENTS: The country is slow to start this morning, so far just a few
bids have been renewed in Kansas. Asking prices are around $103 plus in the
South, and $167 to $170 in the North. A light trade was reported yesterday
in parts of the South at $100 to $101, mostly $101, $2 higher than last
week's weighted averages. Beef cutouts are expected to be lower with light
to moderate box movement.
